Thomas, born and raised in the fast-paced heart of New York City, crossed paths (and swiped paths) with Mason, a Houston native whose Texas warmth could melt even the coldest Manhattan winter. After relocating to Austin in 2016, Thomas had no idea that two years later, one bold Tinder ‘Super Like’ would change his life forever — a fact Mason still reminds him of at every opportunity.

Their first date took place in the charming central Texas town of Round Top, where they spent hours laughing, exploring, and slowly falling in love. Weekends soon turned into road trips, and road trips blossomed into a relationship that stretched across the Lone Star State until early 2020, when fate (and a global pandemic) made things official — Mason landed a job in Austin and moved in with Thomas.

From that moment on, they were inseparable. In 2022, they tied the knot in a small courthouse ceremony in Austin. That same year, they began their IVF and surrogacy journey — one filled with patience, perseverance, and plenty of paperwork.

Now, after a long pregnancy journey, 2026 is the year everything changes. Mason and Thomas are overjoyed to be expecting two little ones and to be beginning this next adventure in their new home on Boston’s North Shore — surrounded by friends, family, and a whole lot of baby gear!
